Day 1
We had lots of fun at Disneyland n Disney's California Adventure Park. Zoomed on the high-speed coaster-california screamin', splash mountain, indiana jones adventure n many more, watched the disney's aladdin- a musical spectacular the traditional holiday parade by some disney characters the pixar pals, n other 3D adventure like Honey, I shrunk the audience n many others..before we ended our day @ disneyland, we witnessed the awe-inspiring fireworks extavanganza and the magical snowfall. Aint that romantic?

Day 2
before we spent a fun-filled day at Universal Studios Hollywood, we went to the kodak theatre, looked at the hand foot prints n signature of hollywood stars. Then, at universal studios, went for the studio tour n watch the Waterworld, went thru a 4D adventure, n saw hw the special effects for universal's biggest movie were made. Screamed thru the darkness, forwards n backwards on he the first psychological thrill ride- revenge of th mummy, experienced a treacherous plunge straight down an 84 foot vertical drop waterfall- damn shiok.

US here we come!

Yest was a great nite! Seeing our old and new friends celebrating with us our joyous occasion. We're really touched :p

Eve of CNY
A bit rush though,
had a quick lunch steamboat at my mum's place then bb n i headed to Muar..long jam over at the Tuas Checkpoint..

by the time bb n i reached, bb's relatives had already finished their reunion dinner, so it's kinda of sad as bb n i were eating by ourselves..so i guess nex yr, we just have to be early..
Day 1 of CNY
Usual stuff, played cards, mahjong with bb's cousins.. my fav pastime over tat, shoppin for shoes..
visit his big aunt..had lunch n 'lao hei',
dinner then went to look for tong n qiao before heading back to SIN.. mu frens over in muar!!!

by the time we reached SIN, it was already 9.30pm..i didnt even get a chance to go n visit my grandma..(so sad, blame it on bb's car..havin prob at the wrong time, cannot drive more than 90km/h due to some loose thingy..so frm the usual 2 hrs journey becomes 4 hrs..believe it or not)
Day 2 of CNY
Had steamboat with my sec sch khakis, only Minmin, Zhenyou, Jintian n Edwin cld make it..so it's a small gathering..after tat, went over to mum's place..

another round of steamboat..majority of the ppl were present, siyi's family, except for my sanmei..played card game-in between..there were so much fun n laughter.. had a few caishenye to give $$$, oops bb is one of them..

Day 3 of CNY
went over to my colleague's place then got to rush home as my family r coming over for dinner..

hmmm...it's exactly a mth since lovelytwo last update their blog..so what have we been up to?
nothin much..the usual stuff..nothin in particular esp wen sch starts..as dis yr i wld say it's a much challenging yr for me as compared to 2007..hopefully it is also a smooth sailing one for me..

bb he is right nw in Thailand for his overseas training..misses him so much..but glad he make it a point to call me at least once a day..

yest went to Chinatown wif family n baby ethan..he's goin to b 4 mth already..

haven reali got the time to sit down n reflect on my 2007..
after months of reno, our lovelytwo nest is ready..hsewarmin over..
went to KL wif my best fren (hope she's feelin better nw)
bb went for three overseas training..new zealand, thailand n india..
arrival of baby ethan,
say gbbye to my tuition life..(well, e principal juz called me recently..didnt return her call)
met up NIE frens for gatherings..thou we promised to meet up quarterly..
attempted to cook a few times for bb n family to eat..
spent a few ks at tasmania..
hmmm..tink nt so bad..i wouldnt say its full of happenings events..but at least they gave me wonderful memories..gdbye 2007..i cried n welcome 2008..

dajie, bro-in-law, bb n i flew by qantas frm sin at 1955 to sydney at 0625..then frm sydney by jetstar at 0840 and arrive at hobart (the biggest city in tasmania) at 1035..
Day 1 Hobart

After deciding to rent the Subaru Forester..we are ready to set off to our first destination~SALAMACA MARKET- a place where ppl sell tasmanian pdts such as art & crafts, fashion n of cuz food..we tried some choc fudge n decided to buy some..we hang ard 4 abt 2 hrs n it's time to hv our lunch n then source for our accomodation..

headin to our nex destination..MT WELLINGTON- Hobart's wilderness of unsurpassed beauty..lovely

fyi, the shops r closed pretty early..some 5pm some 6pm..but as for their big supermarkets like coles n woolworths close pretty late,so we still got plenty of time to get our groceries for our dinner..also, the receipts cld be used petrol discounts

Day 2 Convict Trail
We stop in Sorell, went to the fruit farm to pick our own sweet cherries, strawberries, peaches & raspberries..cost abt $6/pax..u can pick as much as u can, as long as they fit into the container given to each person..the peaches r in season, so they r super juicy n sweet..it's really a deliciously perfect Tasmanian orchard experience..

along the way, we stopped at one of the spectacular geological features in the sea- Tessellated pavement..then at taranna, we went to see the Tasmanian Devil at the Tasmania Devil Conservation Park, $24/pax, can retry again as long as one is still in Tasmania..

For Port Arthur Historic Site, we need at least a full day to view the Australia's premier convict site. So, by the time we reached there it's pretty late already, so we bought the bronze entry pass at $25/pax (The pass is valid for two consecutive days. This pass includes an interpretation gallery, introductory walking tour, harbour cruise that pass the Dockyard, Point Puer Boy's Prison & the Isle of the Dead Cemetery)and we also got the ghost tour at night for $17/pax. This means, we need to get a accomodation for the nite. We chose Nubeena Town..

Day 3 Port Arthur~Tasmanian Devil Conservation Park~ The Heritage Highway
As the Harbour Cruise is at 1130am, we had to go back to Port Arthur..n as we missed the Tasmanian Devil Feeding yest, we also went back to see hw fierce the devils..

Along the Heritage Highway, the views r really awesome! We passed by many towns like Campania, Colebrook, Oatlands, Ross, Campbell Town n we pitstop at Evandale for the nite.

Day 4 Launceston Tamar Valley~Cataract Gorge and First Basin from the Chairlift

We spent abt 4 hrs at the scenic Cataract Gorge, strolling among the peacock & huge rhododendrons in the Gorge Cliff Grounds, cross the river on the world's largest single span chairlift, walk above the rapids on the suspension bridge. We also had our lunch at their cafe.

After that, we went to Launceston City for some shopping b4 heading down to Lowhead for the penguin tour.

Day 5~Tamar Valley Wine Route,The Bridestowe Estate Lavender Farm, Cradle Mountain
drove along the wine route, stop at two vineyard-Delamere and Dalrymple..bought one red n one white wine..

after the wine-tasting, we head down to the largest & oldest lavender plantation in the southern hemisphere n bought some lavender related pdts..

the next destination~cradle mt..
greeted by wallabies n possum outside our cabin..

Day 6 Cradle Mt,Devonport, Burnie, Stanley, Strahan
We took the Dove Lake Circuit that takes us right ard Dove Lake n beneath the towering spires of Cradle Mt..but we didnt finish e whole track..after tat we proceed to the waldheim n weindorfers forest walk, a 20 min circuit..

we drove down to don river railway then to devonport town centre for some shopping..b4 heading down to Burnie for our accomodation..the duck hse accomodation @ Burnie is bb's fav..look! there r so many duckies ard e hse..

after checking out, we went to burnie town centre for some shopping n food..the drive to stanley was wasted as it was raining heavily over there..we intend to take the chairlift up to The Nut..since e weather was bad, we decided nt to..so we had to make our way down to Strahan b4 it's late..

Day 7 Strahan, Queenstown
the nex day, it started to pour, we tot there's no chance for us to explore Strahan n try out the 4 wheelers (ATV)..but yes, it stopped raining n we had the opportunity to explore the unspoiled widerness of the Henty Sand Dunes, appreciating the vast size n amazing beauty!Shiok man!

after e unique experience, we had a chat with the guy, we asked if he had recommendations for Crayfish (lobster)..n his bro owns one..

after the great meal, we went ard strahan, went to the Hogarth Falls, went to the notorious Hell's Gate n to the Macquarie Harbour..

after tat, we took the west coast wilderness way down to the mining town of Queenstown for the nite..Queenstown is renowned for its incredible mining heritage..
Day 8 Queenstown, Huon Trail
We drove on the Lyell Highway, at the top of Gormanston Hill, a sealed road that brings us to the Iron Blow Open Cut- place where gold was first discovered in 1883

The drive down was tedious, we r all havin motion sickness, the routes r juz too winding..worst then cradle mt one..our nex stop is the Huon Trail..
At the Huon Trail, we went to the Tahune Forest Airwalk, whereby we get to experience the amazing treetop walk high above the forest floor, with spectacular views over the junction of the Huon and Picton Rivers. We also tried the Swing Bridges Walk. The rivers r juz beneath our feet..it can b quite scary thou..

Day 9 Hobart City Shopping

Last weekend, bb n i made a trip down to Qian Hu cuz bb wanna try the spa fish..
gosh, the place was crowded..we waited for abt 1 hr plus before it's our turn..
bb was so brave..dipping his feet into the pond n u can see the fish rushin to nibble his feet..as for me..i juz cant overcome the ticklishness tat the fish gave me...once the fish came to my feet, i shake them off..the treatment is $10 for half an hr..the fish were so smart, they really attack the dead skin cells n the wound..

last fri, met up wif jan, vinc, hf and jx..the best part is..i've overcome my 'drivingdowntorchardonmyownphobia' so, this is definitely an achievement for me..gonna give myself a pat on my shoulder..haha
it's always cool to hang out wif close frens once in a while..or in fact it shld b often..but it's always the time and other commitments that reduces the frequency..aniwae..i reali enjoyed myself tat nite during the 3 hrs of meetin up over the buffet din..i always had a gd laugh wen vinc is ard..he never fails to make me laugh till my stomach cramps and having tears flowin out of my eyes..i'm oso reali happi for my frens who r all progressing well with their life..be it lovelife or worklife, they're all on the +ve side..way to go frens..

this morn woke up at 3.30 AM, bb is flying to India, Mumbai for 14 days..
wondering wat's bb doing over there?
juz finished my marking at my place before coming over to my parent's place..
juz can't help feeling a sense of 'missing'-思念
juz can't help missing bb wen he's missing, not by my side..
juz gonna wait for his call every nite..
woo..i'm feeling dull..i shld b used to it already, rite?..first new zealand, second thailand, now India..

next 4 days, PSLE markings..well at least there's something to keep me occupied..
fri meeting NIE gang for dinner..
weekend stay at parent's place n discuss the plan for our hols..tentatively sis n 姐夫 jio bb n i to go to tasmania..cuz yest bb n i went down to ppl's park to check out the tours to japan or korea..they're either all packed or super X! so come to think of that, their suggestion to self-drive at tasmania is quite cool..but don't tink is cheap either..we'll c..

btw, last fri bb n i went to wenguang n yinhuan's lovely nest..thx for inviting us over n both of yr great hospitality..we reali enjoyed ourselves over at yr place..

Presenting Ethan Koh Meng Hong! My xiaomei has given birth to a healthy and cute little baby on the 3oth Sep..congrats to Andy mei fu and my xiaomei! Our whole Tan family were at the NUH, waited hours before Ethan arrived to this world.Welcome Ethan! Oh..he's so adorable!

As for myself, no more tuition!!! really decided to stop. It's been three years. Think it's long enuf..the following batch of pupils have been wif me since they were in P4..hope they do well in their PSLE..take care pupils!

bb will b going for his overseas training again soon...he's leaving on the 15th Oct..11 days to India..hmmm..gonna miss bb..

we're at the stage of complaining

it seems like bb n i have been complaining abt each other lately..kinda of like finding fault with each other, is this the next horrifying stage that a couple has to go thru, or issit juz us? i dun like the feeling at all. But things juz happen so naturally, u noe it's wrong, but still u let it happened. anything can juz trigger our arguments..even over the most trivial thing..
Thou after every complain, we forgive n forget. Think if this goes on, a relationship could just turn sour.
There seems to be a lack of 'honeymoon' thingy between us already..no wonder every couple enjoys the stage of honeymoon the most where sparks are flying everywhere
hmmm...let's c when's my most memorable moments with bb..guess it has to be our overseas trips..or maybe even lovelytwo first trip to Bangkok. It's the time when both of us cld let down our hair, leave behind our stressful life and relax..no quarrels, no complains..or shld i say wen both of us r feelin good?
but there r times that i reali need my own space, my own thinking time..my peace..a teacher's life is reali hectic, almost everyday my brain cells r thoroughly used up, mentally n physically drained..i noe an army officer's life is also stressful..but i noe i can nv understand your working life, likewise i doubt bb u can put yourself in my shoes as well..unless one been thru it..there r times tat i told myself nt to bring sch life back hme..i tried..i tried nt to mark stuff on weekends..so as to acc bb..didnt i?
well, a particular event lately that make me feel so envy is wen my close fren told me tat her bf proposed to her on their ninth anniversary..isnt that so sweet? a long nine years journey..mayb..bb n i still have a long way to go..

1st day of teacher's counsellor course

1st day of the course was not so bad..
trainers were funny,
learnt new things,enhanced my knowledge, noe hw to tackle certain situations, well, basically things related to counselling child,
n most imptly, HF was there, met another coursemate, n nt forgetting my colleagues who were attending this course wif me. so it's reali the company that makes a difference..cant imagine havin to go thru a 9 to 5 course all by myself..luckily, hv these wonderful khakis..mornin break n tea break r provided, but y nt lunch..we gonna settle our own lunch, as it was drizzling, we decided to head down to great world city instead of walkin down to the 'tiams' along river valley stretch..
also, best thing abt the trainers were, they end on dot, 5 pm sharp, YEH!
cuz got tuition later, well i thot, my class was arranged to be at 6 p.m. so wen i reached there, the principal said it was 7 p.m. (i wandered ard e place for abt 5 mins b4 she finally told me tat i came too early, n pls lor it was wen i ask her) I looked at her in disbelief..hw cld i b so blur, n waste my own precious time to go there early? ill-treating my growlin stomach, luckily my dad was still ard the vicinity, got him to send me back b4 sending me there again..thx dad! aniwae, later i did check wif the class, indeed we initially settled the make-up class to be 6 p.m. but later they were told tat it was 7 p.m. So? I shall call it a MISCOMMUNICATION then..well talking abt this make up class, u tink i wan it? No, juz because i'm goin away on tat sun, she herself didnt want to hv relief for my class, she made me do a make-up..erm well? wat does tis me?
aniwae, i startin to count down oredi..4 more lessons to go, n i'm going to say SAYONARA..i won't go back again!!!

but in fact it's quite a bother..havin to rem to do so many chores..
each day, there r so many things to do, so many things to take care of..
is tat reali wat a human shld do..rem this, rem tat..
so a credit bill is reali nt significant enuf until i realise tat i have nt made my last mth bill..nt to mention abt the interests n the late charges..damn, it is impt afterall, so quickly call up the call centre (hopin to b able to waive those)..waited for so long..been hearin the same message, somethin like"We r experiencing high call vol nw.." cant rem cuz feelin quite irritated..been holdin on to the line for abt 30 min i tink before they finally put me through to a VOICEMAIL..sianz..say my hp n ic clearly..so nw shall wait for them to get back to my call..

yest after so long, finally cooked a decent meal for bb..n also for my sisss n their partners..they gathered at my place for dinner..looking at their happy faces, the food is of cuz..EDIBLE...taste? u gonna ask them yrself..but the dishes looked fine rite...n they managed to clear the plates..but it wasnt enuf for all of them as it was a last min thingy..the veges were all bought by mum who asked me to cook them as she's away..so dajie dabao more dishes over to feed the hungry ones..

after tat we had a skype video conferencing wif mum n dad, n my cousin, cousin in law n their daughter..looked dad n mum r enjoying themselves over there..keke

dajie n hubby checked in to changi village hotel for 3 days 2 nites so they asked us to join them for dinner after a swim at the hotel after all of us send mum n dad to the airport...sze, ken, bb n i went to ikea tampines first then giant, then xiaomei joined us b4 we went over to meet up wif dajie n bro in law..

we had zi cha at the kopitiam then san mei fu, andy came to join us..

all 4 daughters n their halves gathered together for a sumptuous dinner!

went for the westzone learning fest held at NUS high..
after tat, together wif my other 2 colleagues cum frens, we went back to pioneer giant to shop for our steamboat dinner food..bb must b envy..or rather sad tat he cldnt join us..keke..everyone helped to make e steamboat dinner an enjoyable one..

miss him so badly..even thou i get to catch more beauty wen bb nt ard..keke
but still, somethin is juz missin frm me..n tat's him..
todae went to one-north to attend a course- wasnt pay much attention cuz too stone..so started to doodle..well, durin such course, there r always one or two ppl who always like to b heard..so e facilitator is still bein well-entertained by them..u noe wat i mean,
after tat wen to coffee club @ holland v with geraldine n yanling..to be honest, it's my first time drivin there on my own..but somehw it's reali veri tirin to drive..it needs damn lot of attention n of cuz it can b stressful in e sense tat there r other ppl in e car too..so safety is top priority..so..i'm reali quite spoilt by bb n my dad..if i can choose, i wld still rather b chauffeur ard by my bb n dad..
oso i dun like e feelin of walkin hme on my own frm e carpark..i feel lonely..guess i still lack that kind of independence in tat area..i need company..

then sis n bro-in-law came wif mac fillet o fish for me n rice for mum ..
then dad came frm back frm airport after sendin my cousin who's goin to migrate to shenzhen..

BUT then after reachin hme..my mum then told me she can make it liaoz..so she cld help me to go le..hmmm..wat shall i do? *dilemma* still, i made e call to tell auntie that my mum cld make it..
wld auntie tink tat i'm being erm..well i oso dunno hw to describe..(but in any case, i dun mean anythin..n i'm reali grateful to her for agreein to help me w/o considering)
mayb it's reali time for me to learn hw to handle such situations tactfully..
i've been tellin bb then i wld make go to have meals wif auntie n uncle for at least once a wk..but did not keep up to my promise.. n also

Day 1 (sin~KL)
bb borrowed a GPS (Global Positioning System) device frm his fren n this thingy helped him to manoeuvre his altis ard in KL..it's pretty useful even thou it made bb went rd n rd some rds when bb missed a turn..

bought a new akira dvd player at carrefour the day before..it provides entertainment for us durin our journey...
bb was hungry so we had a pit stop along the highway..had KFC..hmmm wasnt tasty at all..

our first destination was the mid valley mall..spent a couple of hrs there..bb n i went to their ROOM..similar to our MOLECULE..bought a table lamp and a clock..prices definitely much more CHEAPER..bb was a SATISFIED CUSTOMER..
it's oredi pretty late n we need to find our accomodation..went to vistana to check it out (recommended by his auntie) but it's FULLY occupied..then drove to Four Seasons, same situation..tried our luck at DYNASTY..lucky, managed to get ourselves two connected rooms at their 25th level..scenery was pretty awesome, cld see the petronas tower..walk in rate slightly x..cost abt RM204.70/nite..fine nex time will n must rem book online..thou we thot it's fun n xcitin to look for acc veri last min..

daniel was nt feelin well so he decided to skip the supper..so the three of us went to enjoy the BAH KUT TEH, nex to our hotel..it's yummy..

Day 2 (KL)

had buffet breakfast at its restaurant..so so onli..didnt satisfied my taste buds..especially my COFFEE!!! i'm deprived of good coffee throughout the whole journey..sob sob..

nex we headed to the twin towers..wanted to go up to the skybridge..but it already met its 1000 ppl quota..(luckily went up before oredi..so it's ok) for those who wan to go up, pls b at the queue say 630am..u might still b able to make it thru..

hanged ard KLCC for a while...bought a crumpler for my digi cam..then bb drove down to sungei wang..it's so crowded..we were stuck in the carpark for almost AN HR!!! can u believe it?!? it's true..no joke..OMG..
after dinner at the berjaya times square, bb wan to go n look for his 3rd uncle who sells the toiletries, hangers, those househld items..he wanted to get some for our new hme..so off we went..bought quite a no of stuff.. had supper after tat..

Day 3 (KL~malacca~muar~sin)
after breakfast, gonna get ready to check out..

our next destination is malacca.. shopped at mahkota for a couple of hrs before heading down to muar..went to hav the pingpong size chicken rice..yummy
bb got to pick up some stuff n his cousin.. had a sumptuous dinner at muar before heading back to sin..

oki, tink this is the big one..
the painter didnt cover our laminated flooring during his work, then i guess there's a lot of stains on our floors..so i tink then he mopped the floor..n it's wet...laminated floorings scared of WATER..so wat happen?!? some of e laminated flooring warped! Look at the water marks, some even not yet evaporated when bb n i were there abt 8pm at nite..

e painter gonna bear all the costs..our ID said there r 2 options nw..either he gets e same type of laminated flooring n replaced for us, bt if anythin happens in future, he will nt bear any responsibility, cuz he said the warping issue might b due to the quality of laminated flooring itself or he recommends a better quality of laminated floorings n if anythin happens in future, he will be responsible for them, however, we will hav to top up e difference..so which one is better?!? so irritating..
initially tot we cld move in our furniture on the 6th Jun..dunno whether can make it on time or not..tink gotta call up to delay the movin in of furniture..so ma fan..
the wardrobe n our bookshelf gonna remove in order for the flooring to be done..troublesome rite..
that's nt e end yet..e person who install e door also dunno hw to be careful..go n scratch our laminate oso!!! can u believe it?!?

it's been so long tat our family of 6 hang out together..

then my xiaomei got cravin for durian, so we head down to geylang for DURIAN..ordered one D24 tat cost $16..guess wat e durian uncle happened to be dad's sec sch fren..they still cld rem each other..hmm..it's like hw many decades oredi..

we went to mustafa centre for our nite shopping..then my big sis is hungry again..so wat's nex..

omg..it's quite bad..e workers hack e wall tiles until they actuali drilled into the water pipe, electrical pipe..hopefully nt e gas pipes oso..nw shall leave it to e contractor to fix this prob..cuz it's their prob..but it's our hse!!
todae went down to check e order for our floor tiles..
then who noe 3 water pipe uncles oso came down..luckily bb ask me to go down to check if nt there will b no one there to 'entertain' them..aniwae..they cldnt fix the pipe todae..cuz it was in a real bad situation...they cldnt juz ani hw mask it..so they hav to wait for e contractor worker to b there too hack e wall (went out for lunch) then they can change the whole pipe cuz initially they thot it's only A HOLE..well sound confusin..yes it is..so i hav no choice but to ask bb for SOS..
aniwae later the contractor came down so told him abt wat the water pipe uncles told me..so he call them up again n they promise to cme down tmr n settle e prob..so bb n i need to go down tmr to spot check in case they dun do their job well then jia lat man..

14th day in New Zealand

I been in waiorou, a town in new zealand for 2 weeks. The weather is pretty cooling despite it is summer. The temperature at night is about 8 degree cel. It will be worse if there is gusty wind. The food by the local caterer is far better than Singapore. The portion of the food is doubled compared to what we have in Singapore. Currently, I am preparing to go outfield for 2 days. Hopefully, the weather will be kind enough.

I am missing my bb.

I leaving singapore for 3 weeks

I will be flying to New Zealand for 3 weeks. It will be the longest time that bb and me will be apart. Really miss her deep deep. Meanwhile, I am still packing my stuff. Lotsa of things to pack and I am afraid that I would miss out something. I heard the temperature will varies from 8 to 18 degree C. No worries cos I am prepared. Bb bought me a beanie and a pair of gloves. In addition, I am given some microfleece, long john and thermal wears. This should be enough to keep myself warm.

The flight will be 4.30pm tomorrow and it will take around 10 hours to reach auckland and 6 hours bus ride to reach the base camp. Simply enough, it adds up to a total of 16 hours = 2/3 of a day travelling.

I am still searching for my mp3 cable to upload songs. I think it's the only source of entertainment to keep me occupy.

I will try to snap photos during my 3 days 2 night Auckland tour. So do check out our blog.

Finally, we collected out keys at HDB toa payoh HDB hub. So many paper work to be done. First, we bought fire insurance from AIG. Den we proceed to a room to collect our keys. The malay HDB officer is very friendly. She explained everything in detail. And we take over a total of 27 keys. Wow... so many keys. Den we pay for 3 months of conservancy charges and at the same time arrange for an appointment to activate water and electric power.

We went for breakfast at Mcdonald and after that we went to furniture shop around that area to purchase a King size mattress and bed frame. We proceed to Sungei Kadut to pay for my dining table and sofa set. Really burn a big hole in our pocket.

Den we meet up with my parent-in-laws to do some opening of door ceremony. We offer some joystick and I rolled the pineapple throughout the whole house. After which, we start to check for some defects. We found a total of 50+ hollow kitchen wall tiles. Really hope that HDB can redo the wall tile. Bb will update all the photos that she have taken. Happy waiting.

wow..bb n i broke our record..we actuali drove up to malacca to hav our breakfast (famous ping pong ball chicken rice) then we headed up to KL ourselves..our initial plan was juz to go up to malacca b4 headin to muar..but u noe..we r quite bored of malaaca so we decided to take the challenge by goin up further..with no adult supervision..haha..kept a secret frm uncle n auntie (hope they won't find out) aniwae in order nt to get lost..we definitely need to hav a map on hand in case we get lost..so bought one frm e petrol kiosk..but hey..bb noe his way..cuz he drove up a couple of times to genting wif his parents n relatives so he roughly roughly noe..he still can rem some landmark..

so we went to mid valley shoppin centre (our onli goal for e few hrs) we had our lunch n tea break there b4 we head back to malacca to get some stuff for our new hme..then it's time to head down to muar..
after reachin muar..bb n i went for din..had kuey chap, noodles n char kuey tiao..wat's nex..no countdown..Zzzz

at abt 11.15pm..it's time for us to squeeze our way to tong building..cuz e streets were FLOODED wif thousands of ppl...we reali hav to nudge n jostle..while squeezin thru e crowd..one cld hardly avoid being e victim of e foam spray..we hav to siam here siam there cuz e smell is unbearable n we didnt wan be covered wif foam..but e fun is reali there man..COOL!
aniwae after e countdown..it's SUPPERTIME..we drove down to river valley to hav roti prata, teh tarik n maggi goreng b4 headin hme..

Day 1
our united airline flight UA896 departed to HK at 6.55am..a total of 3 hrs and 8 mins journey..

e guide proposed sentin us to e Ngong Ping skyrail station tat wld bring us to Lantau Island (our 1st destination in HK) bcuz e airport is veri near to it..then he wld deliver our luggages to our hotel-YMCA International House at Yau Ma Tei..all tis is nt free of cuz..a service charge of HK$150 for him n e bus driver..but my dajie believed it's all crap bcuz it's supposed to be part of their service..aniwae we still gave after bargainin e price..

hurray we've reached Lantau Island after a 20 min cable car ride up e mountain..e last skyrail service is at 6pm.

Amex has a promotion ie if there is a min purchase of 3 return trip, each pax wld get a free entrance to Monkey's Tale Theatre. u get to see e Big Buddha statue..enjoyed e stunning scenery..we had lunch there..
then we took their xiao bus to Tai O..a fishin village which i tink is quite similar to our Pulau Ubin..spend abt a half a day there
then wat's nex..dinner of cuz at Tsim Sha Tsui..cldnt decide wat to eat..cuz there's too many selections..we chose hong kong hot pot b4 headin to The Avenue of Stars..

at the avenue of stars, u get to c e panoramic views of the Victoria Harbour and the diff skyline..most of e buldings r more than 60 storeys high..

after tat we proceed to Ladies' Market aka 女人街..did some shoppin b4 we walked back to our hotel..

Day 2
we joined e half day city tour n had to b at e hotel lobby by 7.20am (there's no time diff)
e 1st venue is Yum Cha.tim sum breakfast at a restaurant..their tim sum is reali delicious..e prawns r big n juicy n fresh..
after breakfast..we went to half of the peak..
then to Repulse Bay (high residential area)..e rich ppl stay there..like Jackie Chan, Stanley Ho n e tenth whole richest guy..we went to touch e 財神爺..note there r 3 steps to: always use yr rite hand to touch his head, hands, n finally money pouch..then grab e money tightly n put into yr pocket or handbags etc..then use both hands to hold e big 元寶n put into yr pocket too..

there after tat we went to Aberdeen Harbour to look at e Jumbo Kingdom..

tot tis was e most meaningless one..cuz paid to look at it..the 25 min boat ride ard e harbour include lookin at those 水上魚民living conditions..
oki..one shld noe..such tour always include jewellery factories/shops, medicine etc..our family was juz too tired n we all doze off w.o alightin..oopz..hehe..but we did give face n walked into e medicinal shop n my mum bought a total of 300 plus dunno wat herbs tat cld stable her blood pressure..hope it reali worked..
we were told tat there will b a free complimentary night tour as well..initially we dun believe it..but it's true..we get to enjoy a free dessert (one of their famous dessert, got egg white wif black sesame..) got 3 steps to follow also. 1st must eat e white one then stir then eat again..not veri nice to eat..
e night tour includes a free ferry ride ard e victoria harbour..after e ferry ride..e guide drop us at temple street 廟街which is also veri near to our hotel..so in fact our hotel location is good..even e their mrt line is easily accessible..tourist can get a 24-hr pass which is of a better deal..do rem to bring along yr passport for verification..had claypot rice, their oyster 餅n other 小菜 n wanton noodle (big servings at only HK$10)at temple street..
Day 3
after breakfast..it's a whole day activity spent at Ocean Park海洋公園..it is open frm 10-6pm on weekdays..we headed to admiralty station, bought e bus tics n entrance tics at e station..one of e shops at e station offers a discounted price so it's a pretty gd deal..
reali enjoyed myself thoroughly..had thrill rides, sea jelly spectacular, shark aquarium, atoll reef, panoramic ocean tower, ocean theatre show at headland then took cable car to lowland went to the giant panda habitat to look at Jia Jia n An An, n had grand prix (go kart)..for the thrill rides- we played mine train (roller coaster), ragin river,crazy galleon (vikings), flying swing, ferris wheel, skill games and the abyss (a twin towers that offers thrill-seekers a one-min journey of excitement as they suddenly plummet 20-storeys-60m to the ground in an instantaneous "beyond freefall")..it's reali frightenin man..

after tat, we took e bus back to admiralty station n head to take e peak tram station to go up to e peak..the ride is abt 5 min..n let me tell u a secret tat i hav found out..do try it out when u get to ride e tram.. wen e tram is goin down e 45 deg slope, u can try standin up n not sittin (in fact many ppl fight for e seats), then juz lean 45 deg backwards n u won't fall, it's like magic..it's super fun man..
well of cuz, nt to mention abt e view tat one wld get from the top of e peak..u can imagine rite..

then after tat it's time for dinner..we're all hungry n tired..we headed to Causeway Bay 銅鑼灣 for food n more shoppin..e min price at their food court is $9..so tink that dinner alone cost abt S$100 plus for all..but definitely it's a big portion..

Day 4
Last min shoppin!!! 7 hrs more to go..
bb decided to go shoppin on our own..we went to Wong Tai Sin Temple to pray pray first

then we headed to Sham Shui Pu for our breakfast..

then look at their shops, their wholesale reali wholesale, no retail at all..n they dun even allow u to look at them, nvm..then head to Causeway Bay for more shoppin n then back to tsim shai tsui..
so here's wat we hav accomplished in our shoppin spree..my big sis bought a gucci bag for abt S$1K, my younger sis bought a gucci bag also for abt S$800+ (she bought e most stuff for herself n her husband-to-be), my dad had a S$10 haircut, my mum bought a lot local must-buy pdts (元朗的老婆餅，合桃酥，杏仁餅,蛋塔etc..), aloysius bought a panda bear at e 海洋公園,bb bought a mont blanc wallet n coin purse for abt S$300+ n a crocodile shirt, as for myself: some clothings n a LV Damier Azur canvas purse for abt S$450..tat's all folks..will b back to hongkong for more shoppin n eatin nex time..see ya 香港

tat day, bb picked me up @ 1015 am then we headed down to digio for our make up..ensurin tat we got everythin ready b4 we leave..
hmmm...then elson did my make up b4 settin my hair..while waitin..bb took some photos of me..he's all smiles..me too..

we're pleased wif e final pdt..e flower was delivered to e bridal shop on time too..finally we're ready to meet up wif terry for some phototakin @ e registry of marriage..glad tat e 'lao tian ye' did not gif a heavy downpour..if nt hw to take pics..cant wait to see e photos but gonna wait for abt 2 wks..then..our first guest tat arrived was vinc..he's early..oops..he almost cant recognize me..keke..subsequently our relatives n invited guests arrived..had some more photo takin session..n n n it's our turn to take our dunno wat declaration..gonna take an oath to declare tat e particulars provided is true n blah blah..it's a pretty long one.. hmmm..it's finally our solemnisation..e whole atmoshpere is filled wif luv n joy..we sincerely thank our relatives n frens who took their day off to attend our big day..their presence reali made our day..e day ended off wif a simple reception @ shanghai nan xiang xiao long at seng poh rd..glad tat everyone was pleased e arrangement..

rezt n relax has given us his 1st quotation n omg.. e amt is like near $50k..it's far too much frm our budget..so on sat..we went down to eddie's office (our shortlisted ID)..while still waitin for e other to quote us..or rather tink we hav to look for more..anyway..we went down to discuss whether we cld reduce or give up some of our ideas..like u noe..havin platform..laminated floorin..tampered glass for our study..etc etc..cuz all those hackin down of walls cost $$$...

todae went down to the sin expo for the hme interior design exhibition..spent abt 5 hrs there..onli sit thru 4 designers..1st is e arts & thots..followed by 316 design..then another one which off-hand nw i cant rem..but both of us like Rezt n Relax Interior best..
maybe it's bcuz of e personality of e designer, eddie..discussed abt wat we wan..he's able to provide professional tips, ideas n etc..hopefully he's our RITE designer..so gonna wait for his proposed layout of our dream exec apartment @ jurong west..so excited man...

Both of us went down to HDB early monday morning. We got the 1st queue number for the walk in selection. BB and I were very anxious that we couldn't get the unit we are aiming. Luckily, no one was ahead of us in the queue. The customer service officer helped us to settle all the paper work. We got so many things to sign for the application. After that, we proceed into another room to book our unit. We got the unit that we want. Can't wait to get the keys. Haha... we are informed that our 1st appointment will be 3 months away. By then, we are required to produce our ROM cert and payment. Meanwhile, we will be skirting for interior designer to renovate our home. Finally, we have a nest of our own. How nice!!!

yest went to attend bb's unit open hse wif his mum n bro..get to c bb's office, bund and his working environment..e whole thing took abt 3 hrs..after tat met up wif bb's dad to view e hse tat bb n i considered n wanted..hopefully we'll b able to get it tmr morn..so far so good..his parents r pleased wif the unit..
then after tat..bb cant wait to go for his motorshow..his fav..his hobby to look at new cars..sports car..expensive cars..well basically..anythin related to cars..he likes best..rem he's a CAR FREAK..keke

Picked bb up from her tuition. We went to Jurong East hawker centre to fill up our stomach before bb and I proceed to lucky plaza for her facial. Bb has been preparing for her ROM. Fixing her next 2 facial appointment and rebonding and dyeing of hair dis month. After that, we went to Sim Lim to shop. But I remind bb to go for her manicure & pedicure package which she have signed up. Of course, bb dragged me along to pei her. Oh god.... I couldn't believe the thick layer of dead skin on my sole. The therapist dropped some green tablet into the basin of water that cleanse my feet. She said that it is good to clean up the fungi and bacteria on the feet. After which, she used a cutter and something to peel off the dead skin. Feeling relax and itchy. After everything done on my feet, she proceed to do my finger. Bb got the same treatment too... something extra is that she got her finger and toe nail paint.

On our way back for dinner, we dropped by bukit timah to get apple strudel. I noticed bb like that very much. At the same time, I am having some craving.

We went to Jurong east for dinner and that is our Sunday.

after collectin our weddin band @ suntec city lee hwa, bb n i shop shop for a while then hey we met vinc shoppin for his timberland luggage..then after tat, we headed down to bugis for our tian tian huo guo..it's my first time havin steamboat there..well..i tink it's kinda of ex..as we didnt make any reservation, so all e tables r occupied..left e outside area...well..we decided to settle down..since there's tis so called promotion..tat is..u can to enjoy free-flow of any 2 soup of yr choice free..usual is $10..knowin bb is gonna to perspire like hell..n indeed..he's soaked..luckily there's extra t-shirt in e car..after our heavy din..we walked down to parco bugis b4 headin hme..

on sun, bb n i went to expo to see the innovationnation exhibition..wow..everythin there was so cool..we had to register over at e counter to get our eTicket..then we proceed to e nex counter whereby we got our card (like ezlink card like tat)..cuz we can swipe our card to ans some of e questions tat they have put up..we get to see how e technology has advanced over the years..n hw it improved our lifestyle in terms of transportation, communications, entertainment, health, etc.. for instance e first 'water bottle' handphone to 3G phones, also usin our hands (w/o any mouse) to operate the computer etc..then at e last part of e exhibition..they will collate the responses frm our card tat we have swiped along e way..n then e results will show whether we belong to e aspirin, relaxed n ..(can't rem e last one)..bb n i belonged to e relaxed category..which means we r comfortable wif e technology ard us..

on sat met up wif vinc, janet, hf and jx @ pitstop cafe to celebrate the king's advanced bday n e queen's belated one..i teill u..we had a whale of our time over there..it was so fun playin wif those unique games tat i've nv played b4 at all.. except for monopoly..thumbs up man..thou we onli managed to play wif 2 types..but it was super fun lor..1st was sort of snap game..but instead of snappin @ e cards..we hav to make e sound of e animal tat e other party has..after tat..haha..bb super e blur..so his cards r stackin like mountain (i'm being exaggeratin) then we tried one tat was called dunno wat imagine or imaginative...tis game reali made us laughed till i cried, stomach cramp..u noe tat kind of laughin onli happens once in a while..it happens wen JX mistook e word 'superlative' for 'laxative' I repeat LAXATIVE (hahaha, u shld hav look @ his expression wen he said tat) ..it's reali damn hilarious..didnt noe tat those question cards were so cool..it was soooo much fun answerin those questions..but most imptly, i guess it's e company tat i hav..cheers frens..then after settlin e bill..the boss will take a pic for us n then print it out..we can then paste it @ any corner of e cafe n pen down watever we wan..isnt it cool.. so it's highly recommended to hangout at dis cafe..given e atmosphere, rate n e service provided..worthwhile..

Just finish my training. Despite from a long working day, I still go for training for my kids. This coming Sunday is their Exam. Therefore, I have to give them more practice. Been shouting and screaming throughout the class. Some of them forgot their pattern and some didn't push in effort to practice. Arghhhh!!! So disappointed.

I have been training taekwondo for 13 years le. In fact, I would like to hand over the class to someone. But should I give out my passion. All the parents wanted me to continue. Should I?

yest after chonglin, daniel, bb n i meet up for gerald's bday bbq @ evergreen condo (hougang ave 7)..an area tat bb dread goin cuz we will get lost..haha..

then e four of us headed down to fisherman's village..

poor thing..e village has shrunk! anyway after settlin down..we ordered some finger food such as nuggets, fries and sotong ball..then we asked e waitress to give e ladies a jug of tiger beer..

mon always seem to cme so fast..*yucks..kinda of dislike such feelin..* can i juz relax @ hme n b a tai tai..no need to b a rich one..i dun mind to b juz an average tai tai?!? hehe..

aniwae..glad tat i'm able to spend my time wif my family n bb..on fri, after bb's work..we had din @ his place..then went to west mall to catch a movie ~ Little Man (not bad, quite a funny one) then where did we go? yep went bukit timah for supper...

so..yest after bb's tkd session..bb proposed goin for supper..he suggested changi village - nasi lemak..then we drove down to loyang tua peh kong..by then it was oredi 1130pm when we got there..but e temple is still quite crowded..so e place is like one of e night spot man..

as for our sunday..after my tuition..went for lunch @ ghim moh hawker..then drop by holland to shop shop..e weather is just too hot..decide to go hme to rest for a while before givin our baby a good shower @ e carpark..havin a car has its advantage reali..apart for convenience sake..bb n i cld choose e venue for our run..todae we decided to go west coast..last wk we went pandan reservior, e place is reali huge man..took us abt one hr to complete e whole track..nex wk mayb we can go..erm..havent thot of yet..

Today went to autobacs to shop shop. My fav place.. although most of the time din buy anything. Today, I bought a pair of philips crystal vision headlight for our car. Compared to the stock bulb, it is bright and project white light. Think I will post up photo when I got the time to snap some.

Army Half Marathon

The alarm clock rang at 3.15am. I managed to pull myself out of bed and brushed my teeth. Thank to my bb who have woke up so early to make me a cup of hot milo. After which, I left home and proceed to city hall. I have jio my friends to parked our vehicles at some public car park at bugis cos the town car park are expected to be congested. I am the earliest. The rest of them reach about 20 min later.

We have a short walk to the start point at the Padang. The traffic was so terrible. It was like Saturday night where people go shopping. The start point is flooded with human. Our 21km non competitive run start at 5.30am. I kicked off pretty fine. After some undulating slope and bends (about 10km), I can feel abit of strain on my leg. I am looking forward to every water point. The water and isotonic drink is the only thing that keep me going. After about 18km, I was on fatigue. My pace started to slow down and I could feel the stress on my ankle. However, I told myself I must complete the run. I keep on pushing myself to the end point. The last 500m seem never ending.

I completed the run in about 2h 30 min. This is the furthest distance I even run. Maybe I should try a Marathon. Haha.

Preparation for our ROM

So far, bb and I have settle as much stuff as possible for our ROM. We have got our wedding gown which is tied in by Di Gro. Next, we went to hunt for our wedding bands. We got a pair at Lee Hwa Jewellery. Quite good deal. Bb got hers with diamond whereas for me, I have got something simple.

I think if anyone of you is getting married, you have to start saving. Cos there willbe lot of stuffs to consider such as bridal package, jewellery, wedding dinner and house cum renovation.

I heard from my friends that we need reserve otel for wedding dinner like one or two years ahead. So headache man. Meanwhile, I think both of us will be looking for our home in the west area. So do keep us inform if there is any new HDB flats release in jurong west, bukit batok or bukit panjang area.

I am very busy for the past one week. I joined in the reservist for some course in the Air Force. Pretty slack. Attend lessons, lectures and many canteen breaks. So it like a break from my usual work in camp. Yesterday, I went to Pulau Pawaii to observe how F-16 fly. Indeed, it's an eye-opener.

This morning, I went to east coast park to train for my Army Half Marathon. I haven been training. Cos all the while, I am on course. All the guy are training 18km. So I just have to joined in. The run is damn siong. I am looking forward to each water point ahead. I managed to complete the run in 2 hr 20 min. I think that is the longest distance I even ran.

Bb and I deicided to took up a wedding package as she have mentioned above. We have been searching high and low. And finally we have decide on one that give the best deal. At least, we have tried to squeeze the bridal company dry and make every cents worth. So, we are looking forward to out ROM. Probably in Decemeber. So excited.

weekend trip to muar

on sat, bb, auntie, auntie's cousin n me we went in to muar..after a two hr ride by bb..i noe he's tired cuz he had to drive me to tampines stadium for my walk test early in e morn..thx bb..anyway after reachin muar..bb cant wait to go n gif his car some new accessories..first he went to get his window visor done..then he went to install a new horn..he wanted e bm sound 'pong pong' n not 'pee pee'..hehe..then he went on to hunt for e cheapest deal to get his tweeters done..so far like tat..but haha..juz nw wen bb fetch me back frm sch..he told me tat his horn sounded like lorry nw..back to our weekend trip..we reached sin at abt 9pm after another 2 hrs ride..i couldnt sleep cuz i need to talk to bb to keep him awake cuz it's reali quite scary tat almost all vehicles..be it cars, bus, trucks..all travellin at a min speed of 140km/h..on e way back we saw four porsche..tink their speed is 250km/h accordin to bb..cuz they r gone in sixty seconds..haha..

at muar..apart frm searchin for bb's toys..i oso got mine..stationery is my fav..i bought a couple of winnie e pooh folder n files n pens, then bb asked me to buy a dozen of pink pens since it's cheap..wanted more but left onli 12..then oso bought my children's day gifts oredi..hmm wat else..went to the onli presentable shoppin centre to walk walk..then went to temple to pray..went to their park..wich i tink it's like pasir ris park to hav rojak n their ABC (ice kacang wif ice cream) n some wu xiang..pace there is reali slow..u noe wat i mean..it's relax..n life there is reali simple..so somehow it's good to move away frm such a hectic life in sin to somewhere quiet like muar..

My convocation

Finally, it my turn. My parents, grandma and auntie attended my convocation ceremony last friday. So happy to see my course mates, everyone were snapping group and family photos. I think everyone have been waiting for this moment. All the hard work that have paid off after so many years of studies. I would like to thank my loves one, families, friends and especially my bb.

hehe...hmmm how shld i begin..haha..well..today marks the 14th month anniversary and it's the beginning of our nex stage..still not obvious? ..hmmm..more clues ah..yest durin my convocation, bb bought a bouquet of lilies and gave it to me...then we went for dinner wif my frens at marche..then after tat bb suggested we drove down to east coast park..one of our first favourite hangout spots..wanted to sit at our usual bench but it was occupied..still dun get it? oki more clues...
then we sat n chat..then suddenly...bb asked.."will u marry me even if there's no ring?" hmmmm..my answer..* smiles * then bb said "i forgot to bring the thing u wan"..can c his gigglin n shy face...hmmm other details no need to say...then hugs were given n he was takin e ring out n put it on my finger...hmmm at tat moment..tears of joy blurred my eyes but dried up veri quickly because of the strong breeze...i must say my heart was poundin quite fast..so did bb kneel down? he did but it was after his proposal..so is tat a romantic one? hmmm..of cuz it does..n a sweet one..bb noe wat i wan..a truthful n simple one..lastly wanna say..*i finally found someone* n luv u bb..*blushed*

Yeah... tomorrow my car will be born @ 1.30pm... She has the same birthday as my bb... How cute! Like our baby. I will be collecting her @ Singapore Yatch Club. My Sale agent has promise to fit her with a new spoiler. My bb so excited too. Especially she can put on those hello kitty cushion she bought in Phuket. Let see whether our car will be sporty or look cartoon. I will post photos once I got the chance to snap some... maybe tomorrow.. My number is SGJ5368X. teacher's investiture ceremony

it's my 2nd teacher's investiture..first dip..nw deg..a total of 4yrs has passed juz like tat..but of cuz dis time round..things r not e same..not onli e venue is diff..my bb is here wif my parents n tong n qiao..
e investiture begins at 2.30 pm wif a fanfare being sounded then, the procession entered the hall..then the national anthem being played..then e director of NIE speak followed by guest-of-honour, mr tharman..then e presentation of cert..then e valedictorian speak..then presentation of cert again..then teacher's pledge..then yeah..it's over...then it's phototaking time..

hmmm..finally i can tell myself to take things easy n slower my pace..havent been hearin frm them lately cuz we r juz too busy..comin tue can meet up wif them le cuz it's our teachers'investiture ceremony @ ntu auditorium..
yest after tuition..bb n i head down to orchard..then he went to far east to make his new specs..well it's his 3rd pair of oakley glasses..dis time rd cost abt $438..he has OVErSPENt too..aniwae after tat we went to CK Tangs cuz he still hav e $140 voucher frm starhub..so many conditions stated..no electrical appliances, no F&B, no stand-alone boutiques..then almost all so x..so bb ended up buying braun buffel key holder for car n house, n card holder for a total of $155.. later we met up wif chonglin n daniel.. we suggested to la kopi so here we r..@ big 'o' @ wheellock place...ordered spike 'd' cake (durian cake wif choc) all four of us to share..keke

we ordered a pot of red korean ginseng n they had rosehips..hahha...we a bit 'suan gu' over e design..didnt noe there r 3 ways to place e pots..so enjoy e followin pics..
