*frm malacca to muar*
malacca (30th dec 2005)hmmm..dis time rd bb, bb's bro n i travelled to malacca to meet up wif their san yi..we took bus frm bb's place to woodlands checkpoint then bought bus ticket frm larkin terminal to malacca..journey abt 2 n half hours..
their san yi pick us up wen we reached.. as she is a tour guide..she displayed her professionalism by introducin and brought us ard malacca (bb n his bro been there alot of times oredi)..introduced me to e history of e places..like e portuguese settlements..bukit china..then brought us to mum mum good n cheap food.. we had dinner wif her frens at a rural area, a total of 11 pax..we ate abt 14 dishes but cost onli RM139..cheap rite but good stuff..tried a sip of turtle soup..e thot of it is still abit gross..anyway after tat e three of us went off first cuz we wanna go down to e city..thot it's easy to find our way out juz by followin e route tat we came by..but who noes..we're LOST!.. e roads were narrow..no street lamps..no cars..except for plantations..there were minimal road signs..but luckily we managed to find our way out after an hr of drivin in circles..phew..it was an experience of us man! n was excitin man..keke...
malacca (31st dec 2005)woke up at abt 10 plus..we stayed at their sanyi's place..then for lunch she brought us to Ole Sayang..a well-known place for servin nyonya heritage food...even adrian pang n michelle chia were there specially to recommend e place for their prog- yummy king..hmmm..e food was quite delicious but tink a bit xpensive..e 3 of us ate for abt RM85..
after lunch..bb n i went to TESCO..similar to carrefour but bigger..while his bro n yi went to collect her stuff..
after tat..we headed back to muar..bb's hometown..along e way..her yi wld stop at some nice places which tourists wld go..
muar..it's abt 45 mins drive..after reachin their grandma's place..e 3 of us went to bb's auntie hair salon..his bro had a dye, bb had a shave..as for me..i had a perm..results nt so satisfactory cuz nt veri curly..bb wanna me to hav big wavy curls like e woman in e poster..but of cuz cldnt reach tat standard..seem like i hav wasted my four-hrs..anyway..
after tat we had home-cooked dinner cooked by his ah ma..i must say she's a great cook..got standard..after tat..my sweet bb rem tat i wanna to try ridin on a motorcycle..so he asked me to hop onto one n drove me ard e estate..e feelin was wonderful..it's like tian mi mi..keke..bb got no licence for motorcycle so cannot go onto main rd..after tat..e 2 of them played host by showin me ard..
then go out again for supper..
muar (1st jan 2006)happy new yr!!!
it's bb's dad bday..n his mum's bday on e 2nd..so we went for lunch at a restaurant together wif his relatives (his first uncle & family, 2nd uncle & family, er yi, san yi, ah ma, ah ma's bro, siyi & family) to celebrate..
after tat..bb's sanyi brought us n his two other cousin to mount ophir (gunung ledang)..onli managed to dip my feet into e water..cuz e siren was on cuz it's rainin so not allowed to stay in e water.. we took a few photos and return back to muar.
We have dinner that was prepared by bb's ah ma. Hmm... nice food. Den we head down to town to look for bb's poly friend. However, he was not @ home. So bb brought me to the beach called tanjong. Afterwhcih, we proceed to the shopping centre. I got some spray and comb for my hair. Den bb drove home and we watched King Kong @ home. We packed our bag cos we are heading back to singapore tmr morning.
Singapore (2nd jan2006)Have wan tan mee for breakfast @ a kopi shop. Head back to Singapore. Home Sweet Home @ 1230pm.
